Colleen started her role in the College of Social Science Student Success Center in June 2025. Before joining San Jose State University, she worked in higher education student services at a nonprofit in Berkeley for six years, supporting underrepresented and first-generation college students as a College Success Advisor. Colleen earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz where she received her B.A. in Community Studies and minored in Education. She also has her M.A. in Higher Education & Student Affairs from University of San Francisco.
