Diana joined the College of Social Sciences team in November of 2023. Before SJSU, Diana started her college career at California State University, Sacramento where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Chicano/a Studies. It was there that she was able to find her passion through mentoring roles and working with students as a Resident Advisor. As a first-generation student, Diana struggled adjusting to college and finding resources but was able to succeed through the help of the mentors she met. Within her current role, Diana aspires to be a helpful guide for students as they transition into college.
