Nick earned his bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on multiple subject education from San Jose State University. He later completed a master’s degree in teaching, specializing in best practices, at National University in San Jose. With 18 years of teaching experience across various grade levels, Nick has also worked in higher education as an instructor at Heald College in Salinas, where he mentored new students and helped them transition into college life.

For the past decade, Nick has served as an elementary teacher and athletic director at Mount Madonna School in Watsonville, California. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys playing tennis, golf, and pickleball. He also plays music in his spare time and captains an adult tennis team through USTA NorCal.
