What is Academic Notice and how does it impact exploratory students?

Drop-In Advising

Drop-in advising sessions are for quick 10-15 minute questions. Students are seen on a first-come, first-serve bvasis. Topics may include:

  • Adding/Dropping a course
  • Course schedule
  • Change of major
  • SJSU polices and procedures

How can I have my UASC Hold Removed?

Second Start Program

 Designed for students who have been away from SJSU for at least three years and who left with a GPA below 2.0, this program offers a unique opportunity to re-enroll with additional support and a fresh academic start.

 

Former Student Advising

Former student advising is for students who:

  • Have been academically disqualified
  • Are returning after 2 or more semesters away from SJSU
  • Intend or are currently enrolled in Open University courses
