The Faculty Lab invites faculty to engage in purposeful explorations of issues related to teaching and learning, research and scholarship, and professional growth. Join your colleagues for short 15-30 minute learning bursts, 45 minute sessions and 60 minute deep dives that allow you to discover and discuss (new) ideas, get best-practice advice, and tips for implementation. Depending on the presenter’s preference these sessions may take place in person, fully online, or in a hybrid format.

Session may focus on:

  • the integration of new technologies in the classroom. 
  • how to successfully advise, mentor, and work with students.
  • best practices for community-engaged/based teaching, learning, and research.
  • the integation of research and teaching.
  • the development of leadership, communication, or organizational skills.
  • how to achieve Work-Life Balance.
