Accessibility
The Provident Credit Union Event Center is an ADA-accessible building in the center of the SJSU Main Campus. Students and guests with ADA accessibility needs will enter through the designated ground floor entrance of the venue from the Seventh Street plaza, across from the Student Wellness Center.
Guest ADA-accessible seating will be available for the person with accessibility needs and one assistant (family, friend, etc.) only. All seating inside of the venue is on a first come, first served basis. No reservations
are required.

Event Parking and Permits
Discounted parking permits will be available up to the date of the first Commencement ceremony for each semester.

To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience on your big day, we strongly encourage all guests to purchase parking permits in advance through our OffStreet Link.

Recommended Parking Garages:
To avoid heavy traffic and reduce arrival delays, we recommend parking in the North or West Garages:
North Garage – Located at 10th and San Fernando Streets
West Garage – Located at Fourth and San Salvador Streets
While parking is also available at the South Garage (San Salvador Street), space will be very limited and traffic congestion may delay your ability to make it to the festivities in time.
The Event Center is located south of the North Garage (seven to 10 minute walk) and northeast of West (five to seven minutes walk) and South Garages, across from the Student Wellness Center.

Dining Options
Spartan Eats welcomes you to dine with us during commencement week! Select locations will have special hours—please review our adjusted schedule to help you plan ahead and enjoy your celebration. Food trucks will also be vending food along the Seventh Street plaza.
Please note, items purchased at the locations listed are NOT permitted inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. Food and beverages purchased outside the Event Center will need to be consumed and disposed of outside the venue.
Concessions will also be available inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center during ceremonies. Congratulations, Class of 2025!
Spartan Bookstore
The Spartan Bookstore will be open AND have a pop-up available on-site during the days of Commencement.
